Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the 5 pillars of the Global Security programme for all Ireland and Netherland sites; primarily ADL, ABR, UKIE, IEHD and IEHW
Leadership & Consultancy: Lead at site level on planning, functional, incident response and management.
Create security education and awareness. Ensure, support and comply with standards and policies. Prevent loss. Articulate and socialize security threat, vulnerability and risk. Project Manage.
Investigations & People: Lead, support and identify locally, security investigations. Monitor for the indicators of workplace Violence. Manage the site Tactical Communications where present. Support travel security to and from the sites. Support executive security activities as it pertains to site or countries.
Operations & Technologies: Maintain the physical security of the sites. Manage the access control and ID protocols. Manage, measure and lead the contacted guard company. Own the site security plans, identify and propose continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain and comply with GS policies, standards & SOPs. Plan, risk assess and support special events. Maintain cross-site security exchanges, workshops and best practice learnings.
Supply Chain: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Warehouse, manufacturing, quality and distribution and Engineering to ensure integrity of drug products and ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities. Conduct security assessments and audits.
Emergency & Crisis Management: Where appropriate, maintain and support emergency and crisis response plans. Be a member of the IMTs. Lead and counsel on the security elements of emergency or crisis management response. Participate in and support training and exercises. Monitor wider country alerts and socialize potential issues. Participate in business park security initiatives and develop further security networks.
