Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the protection of people, assets and information in your assigned region.
You will have geographical accountability in terms of organization assets, facilities, and the number and size of operating sites. Primary responsibility for 15 sites in US, Puerto Rico, Brazil and Costa Rica; back-up for 10+ additional sites.
In this role, you identify, develop, implement, and maintain security processes across the organization to limit exposure to liability in an effort to reduce financial loss.
As the Regional SME (subject matter expert) in your field, your role is to identify significant security risks “while providing site support for executive protection on area and regional visits, and special events.”
A key element of this role, is to develop and implement policies, procedures, standards, training, methods, strategies and programs to prevent or mitigate company losses due to theft, misuse, vandalism, assault, product tampering, espionage, sabotage or financial loss.
In addition to directing the approach, deployment and execution of investigations, and team based development effort, you will also maintain close relationships with high level law enforcement, intelligence and private sector counterparts (to include in-country security and international security agencies).
As a key strategic partner to the business, you will brief and advise senior leadership on the status of area security issues and also lead global security programs & projects.
