With the Security Leadership Team, develop and drive execution of the department’s strategy to ensure that Moderna continues to execute on its key priorities

Take a leading role in driving culture change within the Security Department

Creating a technology investment plan and roadmap to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the Department and Own Security department technology solutions and related processes, including Intranet and LMS trainings, collaboration, and departmental alignment.

Enhance the efficiency, operations and performance of the Security Department, including resource planning and workflow optimization initiatives, through use of AI and digital technologies

Develop and implement appropriate metrics and benchmarking through data analytics to measure the Security team’s performance both within and outside the department.

Partner with Finance and Accounting regarding Security Department budgeting, forecasting and accruals.  Manage departmental budget, including the planning cycle within the company timeline

Ensure communication and coordination within the Security Department,

Manage Security vendors, including development of cost and performance related KPIs and cost-efficient billing solutions

Build internal Security knowledge management processes and capabilities
