YOUR TASKS:
Implement the Health & Safety policy and internal synchronization of procedure and work methods referring to Fire regulation, Health, and Safety, as well as maintain all laws and requirements.
Ensures that all facilities are well-maintained, safe, and TAPA compliant with relevant regulations while managing budgets and coordinating with vendors, staff, and other stakeholders.
Ensure that a high level of professional rapport is developed and maintained with all customers
Meet with major account customers and liaise with their security representatives in order to enhance relationships by ensuring DHL meet with their security requirements
To design, develop and implement preventative facility equipment i.e. CCTV, access controls, x-rays etc
Conduct regular security related investigations and other inquiries as required and submit findings to Senior Director Operations
Conduct security audits to assess effectiveness of security practices and programs at all sites
Preparation, analysis and submission of regular reports on shipment and security incidents
Conduct regular internal safety & security audits and ensure adherence to all security policies and procedures and also manage any external audits
To provide overall management of Loss Prevention with the business including investigations and reports
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans
Oversee the upkeep of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure
Schedule and supervise repairs, maintenance, and renovations
